Zombiewood is an “twin-stick shooter” action game initially released in 2012 on iOS and Android.
The player portrays a cinema star in charge of eliminating zombies that invaded Hollywood.
It was the very first project I’ve been working on once I arrived at Gameloft.
At that time, the team in charge of it was already doing content for the game evolution for nearly a year. It was planned to implement a new game mode for an upcoming update: The Horde. This mode was delivering infinite waves of enemies more and more powerful, and the player had to survive as long as he can.
As a fresh Junior Game Designer, my task was to:
- Prepare Game Design documentation related to this new game mode
- Design and balance the all logic of infinite wave of zombies (their generation had to be random)
